   CBPS-300 DC Power Source

  • Built-in OPEN and CLOSE solid-state initiate circuit
  • All DC outputs are over-current protected
The Model CBPS-300 is a microprocessor-controlled, variable-voltage, DC power supply. It is designed to replace substation batteries during circuit breaker testing. The CBPS-300 provides a ripple-free, DC power source to operate utility circuit breakers for contact-timing and other breaker-testing operations.

UPS Series 2 Universal Power Supply

  • Isolated variable 1-300 Vdc source
  • Isolated variable 1-240 Vac source
  • 10 ampere continuous current

The Vanguard Universal Power Supply Series 2 (UPS-S2) is designed and produced to meet a utility company's substation needs for an independent AC/DC power source. Both the AC and DC Voltage sources are capable of supplying 10 amperes continuously.

The variable DC power supply (1-300 Vdc) is ideal for use as a substitute primary power source when station batteries are not available. The UPSS2 is ideal for operating circuit breakers, powering substation relays or for unregulated charging of substation batteries. The AC power supply is a variable isolated power source (1-240 Vac) that can be used to power other equipment in the substation.
