Vanguard's Model RFD-200 Series 2 is a portable test set that delivers performance verification testing of electro-mechanical, electronic, and micro-processor-based protective relays in their operating installations. The Model RFD-200 Series 2 is a rugged test set that provides testing of a variety of protection relays that operate in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The Vanguard RFD-200 Series 2 is very easy to use. Ergonomic design allows intuitive operating choices to be made by first-time users with little or no training.

The RFD-200 Digital Timer can be started or stopped in three different modes:

  1. Internal Trigger: Start timer with the presence or removal of RFD-200 voltage or current source.
  2. Dry Contact: Change of state of a dry contact input.
  3. Wet Contact: Change of state of a DC voltage input.
Specifications are valid at nominal voltage and ambient temperature of +25˚C (+77˚F).
